Shari Macias Wong

Shari is an award-winning broadcast journalist who worked for nearly a decade as an anchor/reporter for WRC-TV (NBC) in the nation’s capital. Previously, she was a television reporter at KCRA-TV (NBC) in Sacramento, California. Today, Shari works as a media consultant and producer at Wong Media Inc.. Shari lives in Arcata, Nevada, with her husband, Tim, who is President and CEO of Arcata Associates ― an engineering and technology firm. Together, they have two children, Alex and Lauren. Shari serves on the advisory board for the Smith Center for the Performing Arts, and is a Trustee/Secretary for the Discovery Children’s Museum.
