Grace Lim

Grace Lim was born and raised in the Philippines. Living in different regions and provinces in the Philippines enabled Grace to fluently speak three of the major languages of the country: Tagalog, Ilokano, and Bisaya. She immigrated to the United States in the 1990s and, years later, met the man who would eventually become her husband. They have now been married for over 20 years and are raising three children in California. The oldest and youngest are girls. The middle child is a boy, their son Jordan. Upon the birth of her first child, Grace gave up a promising career in the nursing field in order to be a full-time mom. As a parent of a special needs child, in Jordan, Grace’s days are often packed with activities pertaining to his care and well-being. Her schedule is usually booked well in advance for meetings with teachers and other service providers, among other similar events. Despite the challenges, she and the family consider Jordan to be one of their greatest blessings on earth.
