Amy Mara

Amy Mara is a civil engineer for a private engineering firm in Chicago, Illinois. A part-time Chicago resident, she is a graduate of Second City's Improvisation Program, loves to travel, and volunteer for non-profit organizations including the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Amy's interests include exploring the many wonders of the city, cooking, sharing memories of her former island of Guam, and indulging in the laughters of life. She holds a Bachelors Degree from Marquette University.

Founded in July 2012, LIGAYA has short, timely, and relevant, pieces about a variety of topics which affect women's lives. The site is an evolving work in progress. Ideas are welcome.
