Rose is the founder of Ligaya Magazine. She is an award-winning television journalist who previously worked as a reporter/anchor for KUAM-TV (NBC) Guam, WINK-TV (CBS) Fort Myers, WPVI-TV (ABC) Philadelphia, and as a health and medical journalist at KTVU-TV (FOX) San Francisco. This former East Coast girl now lives in downtown Chicago with her husband ― an attorney and Emmy Award-winning news writer/producer at WLS-TV (ABC). Rose serves on the media committee of the Hydrocephalus Association, is a digital co-curation volunteer at The Field Museum, and a founding partner of the Sampaguita Group ― a non-profit organization whose mission is to reverse the phenomenon of "2nd Generation Filipino American Educational Downward Mobility." Rose holds a Master of Arts degree in medical and science journalism from Columbia University in the City of New York.
